Hi, I'm Amy — the notary behind AH Mobile Notary.
I've called Orange County home for over 30 years, and Newport Beach specifically for the last 24. This is where I met my husband, and where we raised our two boys, who went through Newport Elementary, Ensign, and Newport Harbor High. While I'm originally from Maryland, Newport Beach is home now, and there's nothing I love more than being part of this community.
That sense of community is actually what drew me to notary work. Before this, I spent years in the restaurant industry — work I still do part-time today — and what I loved most wasn't just the food, it was getting to know the people who walked through the door. Notary work gives me that same connection, just in a different way: I get to meet people at meaningful moments in their lives, whether that's closing on a home, setting up a trust, or helping a family member get power of attorney sorted for a loved one.
I also hold a degree in accounting from Cal State Long Beach and spent several years working at a large national accounting firm. That background gives me a sharp eye for detail and an appreciation for how much documents like these matter — which is part of why I take the notarization process so seriously.

I'm NNA and LSS certified, bonded and E&O insured, and background checked — so you can feel confident inviting me into your home, your hospital room, or your business. I'm also a member of the National Aging in Place Council, because I have a particular soft spot for helping seniors and their families navigate important documents with patience and care.
At the end of the day, I show up prompt, professional, and precise — because your documents, and your time, matter.
When you search for a notary online, you'll likely come across large notary platforms and services that dispatch whichever available notary is nearest to you. There's nothing wrong with that model — but it's different from what I offer, and I think that difference matters.
When you work with me, you're not getting a rotating cast of strangers or a call center handling your questions. You're getting the same notary — me — every time, someone who knows your history if you're a returning client, and who you can reach directly with questions before or after your appointment.
I've lived in Orange County for over 30 years, and in Newport Beach for 24 of them. This isn't just a service area to me — it's home.
